Welcome to
Baaske network isolators are designed to protect devices and people from high voltages and currents from the data network. Stray currents, which are often undetected, can cause enormous damage to people and equipment. Increasingly complex networks mean that such currents are rarely noticed in time and can lead to unpredictable interactions.
By simply installing a Baaske network isolator, users, inventory and third parties are protected from dangerous currents and voltages within 5 seconds. The Baaske network isolators reliably prevent potential equalization currents and protect against voltage surges that can occur due to installation errors, environmental influences such as lightning or moisture, inrush currents or electrostatic discharges.
All Baaske network isolators offer protection against D and AC voltages of 5kV and operate in the data network with almost no loss due to its excellent damping. This means that several Baaske network isolators can be used in a network without any noticeable impairment of data performance. The passive, electronic components do not require their own power source and behave completely transparently in the data network. In addition, significantly higher normative requirements are met than with other commercially available network insulators. This enables easy use of the Baaske isolators in the patient environment.
Versatile solutions for individual systems
Wall mounting, flexible use, installation in a medical device
1GBase-T network isolator Transmission rate: 10/100/1000 MBit/s
Flexible and easy way to instantly isolate devices.
Baaske network isolators stand out thanks to their ease of use. In less than 5 seconds, the well-designed and universally applicable network isolator protects users, inventory and third parties from dangerous leakage currents. No installation is required due to the passive, electronic components and no separate power supply is needed.
2.5GBase-T network isolator Transmission rate: 10/100/1000/2500 MBit/s
For fast networks, surge protection included
The Baaske MI 2005 network isolator can now also be used for Wi-Fi router connections with transmission rates of up to 2.5 GBit/s. Key advantage: It can be operated with existing network cabling (Cat6). It features two independent precautionary measures (2 MOPPs) to protect the patient, in accordance with the standard DIN EN 60601-1 (3.2 edition) and is therefore ideally suited for standard-compliant galvanic isolation of Ethernet-based signal interfaces within a patient environment. The MI 2005 also has ESD and lightning protection properties. It thus protects connected devices and their users from voltage surges caused by lightning, electrostatic discharges, etc.
1GBase-T network isolator Transmission rate: 10/100/1000 MBit/s
Ideal for device installation
The MI 1005 E network isolator provides a simple and cost-effective way of isolating medical devices from the device housing wall. This network isolator is therefore particularly suitable for manufacturers of medical devices. It features Harting push-pull connectors that ensure the MI 1005 E medical built-in isolator can be easily and quickly installed in existing devices. Its long service life offers the planning security that is required for new product development.
1GBase-T network isolator Transmission rate: 10/100/1000 MBit/s
Perfectly housed in wall housing
Once firmly mounted in the wall, the isolator is well protected by the housing. Accidental impacts can be compensated and the network isolator and cable connector remain undamaged.
Technical specifications for Baaske network isolators
Baaske network isolators operate on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The passive, electronic components do not require their own power supply and behave completely transparently in the data network. The installation of drivers or additional software is not required.

Baaske network isolator applications
Baaske network isolators in medicine
Network isolators protect patients and medical devices from excessive leakage currents that can flow through the data network. Every device connected to the network represents a risk. With the connection to the data network, this also becomes a risk for the patient. The Baaske network isolators protect patients, equipment and users from dangerous leakage currents that can occur unpredictably at any time. Using a medical network isolator offers real savings and an alternative to expensive additional medical hardware.
Network isolators in measurement and monitoring facilities
Baaske network isolators protect sensitive measuring and monitoring devices in electrical test bays, which are connected to a control center via Ethernet interfaces, against interference voltages and potential differences.
Baaske network isolators in server systems
To prevent failures or potential equalization currents, MI 1005 and MI 2005 network isolators protect server systems that are connected over long distances using copper cabling.
MI network isolators in audio applications
Baaske network isolators reliably protect against voltage surges and low-frequency AC voltages (mains hum) and thus improve the sound.
Baaske network isolators are certified according to industry standards
Baaske network isolators MI 1005 and MI 2005 meet the high requirements of latest medical standards according to IEC 60601-1 (3rd edition) and IEC 60601-1-2. These galvanic network isolators are therefore ideal for use in medical care devices.
